Kill Yourself: The Movie
Like locusts, just because they only come to life every seven years or so doesn't mean that we choose to ignore them for the other six. As if on schedule, the Stormtroopers Of Death seem to arise just at the moment when all the heavies begin to take themselves too seriously. Then ceremoniously fart their way into history. When the Four Stooges of Metalcore (Anthrax's Charlie Benante and Scott Ian with Brutal Truth's Danny Lilker and MOD/AgnoFront's Billy Milano) aren't offending the pc buzzards, they're ripping on tour or ripping into each other in a bacchanalian frenzy of drugs and chicks along with their brew-sopping, metalhed pals. "Kill Yourself: The Movie" captures most of the onstage glory and a PG-rated portion of the backstage whoring, with Milano as your cordial host (although it's hard to think of him as the Love Boat's Capt. Stubing of thrash...). What say you, Ebert? “I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me.” Hey, just f*** "It's A Wonderful Life," now we have a movie for the holidays to remember. -ml kilgore (Nuclear Blast America)
