Loose Ends

Loose Ends
Let The Music Be Your Master
Recorded @ Zen Recording Studios
Engineered & Produced by Loose Ends & Steve Connelly
Mastered by Josh Stephan @ Springs Theatre

Loose Ends ply high-octane garage rock n’ roll with a bit more personality than most of their ilk, reaching farther for an interesting change of pace, and usually coming up with something worthwhile. While ‘Down So Low’ and ‘Free Your Mind’ are straight-up barn-burners, KISS by way of The Morning Shakes, ‘Killin In The Name of Rock’ veers off into mid-tune psychedelia, and the standout ‘Go Back Start Over’ surges and compels, with a dark, moody Gimme Shelter-era Stones feel. ‘Shot In The Dark pt. 3’ broods with a sort of Seventies intrigue, and ‘Ride The Revolution’ cranks a slow intro up into a dynamic bluesy finish. Raw, back-and-forth vocal volleys add a lot of personality to the trio’s vibe, which successfully manages to sound both fresh and familiar. These guys definitely wear some of classic rebel rock’s best influences on their collective sleeve, but also constantly push to make them their own.
